Silicalite-1 formation in acidic medium: Synthesis conditions and physicochemical properties

Zeolites are the catalytic materials that widly applied in processing of conventional and renewable fuels chemicals. The present study provides a comprehensive analysis factors controlling acidic medium synthesis high silica silicalite-1 zeolite. effect various sources (TEOS, fumed colloidal silica) alkali metal cations (Na K) on formation is studied. efficiency different types seeds (micron-sized, nanosized, amorphous precursor) crystal growth kinetics size formed under conditions also investigated. Further, zeolite crystallization acidic, neutral, basic compared. obtained highly crystalline samples used to compare physicochemical properties zeolites synthesized medium. Thus, crystallinity, thermal stability, local order (2–12) pH range evaluated.
